Asperger Service Dogs are somewhat similar to psychiatric service dogs and accordingly have a lengthy training period. Each case is different with alternate needs. Thus the process is lengthy as we determine and train the specific tasks the dogs will be required to fulfill. Dogs enter into ‘task specific’ training aimed at their handlers/child’s and families needs.
